Holodexxx – The Future of VR Porn? Interview

Holodexxx is something I’ve been keeping a close eye on over the last couple years. For those wondering what Holodexxx is, I will keep it short and say that it’s the revolution of VR porn. A startup founded by Morgan Young, Craig Alguire and Chris Abell aims to change the future of porn forever. Imagine having the option to meet your favorite adult performers on demand and have them perform for you the way you want to.

It might not sound like anything special with the amount of VR porn games already out, but trust me, there’s nothing like this available on the market right now. Holodexxx has an entirely different approach, a very professional one. They currently have 9 pornstars that are featured, including Tori black, Lexi belle, Riley Reid, Jynx Maze, Dani Jensen, Dani Daniels, Mia Malkova, Skin diamond and Christian Wilde.

They fly in all the models, have their makeup and hair done and have them pose in different angles while the 112 cameras capture their entire body. With the founders background in 3D scanning, 3D design and animation, they proceed to map and integrate each model digitally with the help of Unreal Engine 4. Did I also mention that they plan to integrate voice control as well. You will be able to control the models with the help of their voice AI and essentially be able to treat it as a real person.

Current state of Holodexxx

They have made huge progress so far and have released 2 demos, their full gallery of models and the Riley Reid “Sneak Peak” Experience. And according to their Patreon page they plan to release an alpha version by the end of 2019 that will feature their virtual human adult starts, you will be able to play with them, talk to them, and explore with your own virtual star.

I had the pleasure to have a look at their Riley Reid “Sneak Peak”, although I couldn’t experience all the possibilities due to it being a demo, I must say that it felt extremely realistic and I can’t wait for the full version to be available, expect a full Holodexxx review once the game is out.

It is also worth mentioning that the companies vision for this venture is not to be associated with woman exploitation or building a solely male audience. They plan on expanding their models and experience to all sexual preferences.

The game is expected to be compatible with all the popular VR headsets and be available on Steam. If you can’t wait to try Holodexxx, I would suggest heading over to their website or patreon page where they post often updates on what’s going on.

The developers were also kind enough to answer some questions for VRPornMania, as the game gets closer and closer to release you will find a lot of answers here.

1.After the alpha version release, what’s next for Holodexxx?

The alpha version will feature our initial Holodexxx 2.0 model — Marley Brinx. Holodexxx Marley represents the most lifelike, interactive model we have developed to date. Featuring a next-generation facial rig, interactive gens, and movie quality MoCap animation, Marley is the future of VR porn. We are building on the Alpha release continuously until we achieve our primary goal of creating a truly realistic VR porn experience. 

2. How much are users expected to pay for access to Holodexxx?

We have not locked down our monetization plan, but whatever the cost of access may be, our Patrons will always receive full access to Holodexxx at our Patron tier. It might be best for people interested in high-quality interactive VR porn to get in early on Holodexxx, and lockdown this low price.

3. Are there any plans for AR integration?

AR is an interesting space, but we don’t have any immediate plans for an AR experience. If we discover a way to make the AR space sexier, we will.

4. Oculus Quest hand tracking has been recently mentioned, are there any plans to integrate that with Holodexxx?

Holodexxx strives to accommodate as many players as possible. Oculus Quest with hand tracking seems like an incredible hardware match for Holodexxx, and we will test the possibilities of the hardware as soon we can get our grubby hands on a kit.

First of all I would like thank Holodexxx and their team for the opportunity to ask them questions and get a better understanding of what we should expect. This is currently the most promising VR Porn game and I for one can’t expect for it to be released.
